Description
Bring a whole food, plant-based dish to share along with the recipe. Whole food, plant-based dishes exclude meat, fish, poultry, eggs, milk from animals, added oils (even olive), and processed/ready-made meat and dairy alternatives (think Daiya cheese, Tofutti sour cream, Impossible burgers). This event is meant to be a celebration of the many delicious and healthy dishes that can be prepared without the use of added oils or processed meat and dairy alternatives. Meat and dairy alternatives like sour cream made in your own kitchen with tofu or cashews, burger crumbles made from tempeh, or a cheese sauce made with nutrtional yeast are welcome. The opportunity to try new recipes is a great way to encourage us to move beyond the handful of dishes rotating through our kitchens and help those who are new to plant-based eating to begin creating their own repetoire.
